The Main Campbell Honors Community has several committees that give community members influence in major aspects of the dorm and make important things get done. The current committees are: Dining - Chaired by Rachel Marksteiner Responsible for planning, arranging, and carrying out catered dinners for the Community. In the past this has included Thanksgiving feasts, etiquette lessons, and the bi-annual Mentor Toast. Building Renovations - Chaired by Amrita Raja Takes on the unenviable task of beautifying our dorm. Last year the committee planned and carried out a complete renovation of the kitchen. Academic Standards - Chaired by James Mills This committee has produced the Academic Standards Constitution for the community, and also holds hearings for students who have not quite made the GPA requirement for a semester. Portrait - Chaired by The Main Campbell Portrait Committee is responsible for planning and hosting the biannual community portrait, as well as procuring the matting and framing. Once completed, the portraits are to be hung in the MC lounges. Community Service - Chaired by Kelly Wilson Finds service opportunities for the community and encourages everyone to take part. Main Campbell has been active in food drives and Habitat for Humanity. Website - Co-Chaired by Blair Lyons and Curtis Kobelski Maintains and updates the Main Campbell Website. |
